Introducing: Living Breathing Medicine

Today is the launch of Yellow Armadillo Studio’s newest podcast: Living Breathing Medicine.

Hosted by two family practice doctors, Cecily Havert and Natasha Beauvais, Living Breathing Medicine is a space for health care providers to share stories of the patients that have touched their lives, the ways they practice self-care to heal from the job, and the ups and downs of practicing compassionate medicine.

The first episode is a conversation with Dr. Kristin Forner, a palliative care specialist who started her job just two weeks before COVID-19 swept over the country. It’s a really moving conversation-- I hope you get a chance to listen to it!

It’d be so helpful to us if you’d subscribe in your favorite podcast app, and share this show with the health care providers in your life.

Three other fun bits of news:

  • Just before Thanksgiving I started producing two weekly podcasts for the National Constitution Center: We the People and Live at the NCC. I love getting to expand my work in the legal podcast space!

  • Earlier this year, Strict Scrutiny was acquired by Crooked Media! It’s been amazing to work within a well-establish network full of kind and helpful people. I’m so proud of all of us. (We also got a gorgeous new logo!)

  • I tried something new and produced three audiobooks for Dr. Nicole Price. Did you know you can self-publish an audiobook? Dr. Price read her own books, along with her co-author for one of them, and I edited the files and exported them to meet Audible’s standards. It was a new experience for both of us, and showed me that I absolutely want to work on more of these!

Yellow Armadillo Studios is busier than ever. I am full of gratitude for the clients I get to work with, and the stories I get to help tell.
